Create a cycling round trip from your own location
Choose where you want to start and how far you want to ride. BikeRouteNow creates four different round trips that finish at the same place, without making you draw every waypoint.

Cria agora a tua rota de bicicletaHow do you create a round trip by distance?
Open the planner, keep the route type set to Round trip and enter an address, town or postcode. You can also allow the planner to use your current location. Then choose the preferred distance and generate four suggestions.
- Choose your starting point.
- Set a distance such as 30, 50 or 80 kilometres.
- Optionally enable Wind or Nature.
- Compare the four routes by distance, duration and shape.
- Download your favourite as GPX, KML, TCX or GeoJSON.
Why do you get four different routes?
One generated round trip is not always the route that suits your mood or available time. BikeRouteNow therefore shows four alternatives around the same distance. The map makes it easy to see which direction and area appeal to you.
The actual distance may differ slightly from your target. The maximum distance margin lets you decide how much deviation you accept. If no route fits that margin, increase it and try again.
A fresh round trip from home, a campsite or hotel
A round trip is useful when you want to return to the same place: home, a station, campsite, hotel or car park. Because you only need a starting point and distance, you can quickly compare several options in an unfamiliar area.
Check an automatically generated route
Before leaving, review the complete route and check surfaces, ferries, roadworks, temporary closures and current traffic conditions. Open map data can change, and an automatically generated suggestion cannot guarantee that every section is accessible at that moment.
